Indus Motor has recently launched the new Land Cruiser Prado in Pakistan, offering both petrol and diesel variants. The latest model showcases a box-shaped cabin, improved visibility with a redesigned A-pillar, lowered beltline for better side views, and a hood design that helps drivers see the vehicle’s corners more clearly.
The 2024 Prado is equipped with numerous safety features, including SRS airbags for the driver and front passenger, side and knee airbags, and curtain airbags for added collision protection. DRIVETRAIN
The new Prado is equipped with a 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine, now paired with a new 8-speed Aisin automatic gearbox. This setup delivers power and torque to all four wheels, ensuring robust performance across various terrains.
GRADE WALK
All new Prado models come equipped with heated and ventilated leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and 18-inch alloy wheels. They also feature a center-locking differential, nine airbags, a multi-function steering wheel, and Toyota’s suite of semi-autonomous driving aids. The new Prado features seven seats, three driving modes, keyless entry/start, LED headlights, fog lamps, and front and rear parking distance control (PDC) with a reverse camera, ensuring both comfort and safety.
The two high-spec models, the 3.0-litre and 2.8-litre First Edition, feature nearly identical specifications with some key differences. The First Edition, no longer available new, comes with off-road-ready Toyo tires, heritage-style rounded headlights, a sand brown exterior color specific to the model, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, a dark brown leather seat option, and a two-tone exterior option.
The regular 3.0-litre model, which will continue to be available, includes a rear locking differential, a 10-speaker sound system, a 12.3-inch infotainment and digital instrument cluster, a heated leather steering wheel, a moonroof (not available on the First Edition), the brand’s Multi-Terrain Monitor, a front stabilizer bar disconnect mechanism, a wireless smartphone charger, a head-up display, electrically adjustable second and third-row seats, a rear-view mirror with an integrated camera, adaptive LED headlights, a refrigerated center console storage area, and a surround-view camera.
